Good Luck to Our Children

Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear he will do as little as possible to protect our environment. His recent hires have all taken a stance against the ridiculous, scientifically proven fact that GLOBAL WARMING DOES EXIST. His choice of Environmental Protection Agency transition leader, Myron Ebell, has proved to be one of the worst individuals he could have chosen to head the EPA transition. A global warming skeptic and extreme conservative, Ebell has already begun his steps toward cutting spending on preserving our disintegrating Earth. With a plan to cut two-thirds of EPA workers, the businessman hopes to allocate funds to a more "worth-while” issue than our environment.

Even more detrimental to our environment and the work of the Environmental Protection Agency is Oklahoma Attorney General, Scott Pruitt. The fossil fuel industry supporter and denier of Global Warming will be the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, during Donald Trumps’ four year term (cross your fingers it is only one term).

I wonder, how does one not believe in Global Warming? Is it that he, as well as other elected officials, give the excuse of not believing in Global Warming, because it is easier than saying you just don’t care about the environment? Or are they really so ignorant and careless to think this isn’t one of the most pressing issues in our world today?

With our country’s government choosing to neglect the issue of global warming, other countries must now step up and fill the role America once did.
